Most advertisements are limited in the amount of space they have to communicate with readers. Rather than cram the complete story into a small area, an effective ad uses the space primarily to draw attention and give a “big picture” synopsis of the message. The reader is then re-directed to a phone number or website, where more information can be given and a possible customer contact can be made.
